Hang Loose

On April 2nd I woke up early to go to an Ostrich Farm. This may sound lame but it was actually very interesting and very fun. At the end of the tour I was privileged to ride an Ostrich. It was so awkward and while I was riding the Ostrich I almost ran into another Ostrich. At the end of the tour they gave me an Ostrich drivers license. So I am certified to drive an Ostrich. That will go far in my life.

After the Ostrich Farm we rode a little bit in the van to the Cango Caves. At the Cango Caves I chose to experience the adventure tour. The adventure tour consisted of going through very tight spaces deep inside a cave. I even became a tour guide at one point because our real tour guide had to leave for a short while. The caves were beautiful and we got many pictures of them. April 2nd ended with the group going to an art fair in Outdshoorn. It was a local festival that had so many unique booths and acts. We even got to see an Afrikaan rapper. Definitely not as good as American rappers. I also had many unique foods that were so yummy.

The next day was another great day. It was really chill and I got to go surfing in the Indian Ocean. The funny thing about the lesson was the end when my instructor was trying to convince me to move to California to take up the surfing lifestyle. He thought I was really good at it. He even told me to hang loose with the hand motions. I also will never forget when Leon the surf instructor saved two kids lives from drowning. It was unbelievable.

Finally today, April 4th, was the day of the great white shark. I was lucky enough to be in a cage with 5 sharks swimming next to me in the wild. It was scary but very exciting. They came so close to the cage and actually hit the cage sometimes. I am off to bed now. Hope all is well and World Peace!
